The weather we are experiencing this week is crazy, not just here but across the nation. I remember checking the temperature Sunday and reading that it was going to feel like -9 degrees. Seriously!? Did 2020 not bring enough chaos? 2021 really needed to start the year off this way? I feel like 2021 is trying to give us the “cold shoulder”, or maybe it is trying to freeze everything so we can start the year off fresh and new.

In the meantime, how are we supposed to protect homes and businesses from potential problems caused by the freezing weather we are experiencing this week? First and foremost, keep your heat on. Open your cabinet doors near the pipes so the heat can reach the pipes and turn your faucets on to a small drip to keep the water flowing.
